On 1th, Nov, 2019, the Production Management Department Organized and Design Institute, the Pipe Outfitting Department and the General Assembly Department to carry out the Grip pipe coupling effect test in the pipe outfitting department. The test pipe diameter was DN80, and the length of the pipe section was 500mm * 3. The connection error of the field pipe section was higher than the Grip pipe coupling installation standard. After installation, carry out tightness test on the test tooling (design working pressure of coupling is 1.6Mpa, test pressure is 2.4pmpa), no leakage and "tooth off" phenomenon of coupling are found during the test, and the test effect is good, which proves that the Grip pipe coupling can still realize effective connection under the condition of large pipeline installation error.
